Chapter 135: Crimson star
Chapter 135: Crimson star
With half of his body burned to ashes, the other half regenerated itself, having his mind on the final stage of his craft.
His blood worked as a template in front of him; the shape was like a scythe, just like Orcus, his favorite type of weapon. The problem lied in the heat and pressure of the field. His blood vaporized instantly, so he had to put much more blood to keep the shape.
The nova magic still had some parts that went after him, but for the most part they traveled to the shape of the weapon; in just an hour it could be compared to Orcus in terms of power, yet that didn’t satisfy Ray.
He continued the process, filling more and more into the weapon of nova magic; he had lost the time count. Having no sense of the outside world didn’t help either; all he could do was energy drinks.
After an eternity, the weapon was completely made. In terms of strength, it had the level of an immortal!
"Here comes the hard part!"
It was not still a weapon that he could use, just magic focused in one place. He stopped gathering more magic; the amount needed was already passed by a large margin.
His flesh and bones melted away into blood; because it was his own flesh, its durability was much higher; it could withstand the heat for a few minutes. His flesh joined the half-made scythe; the nova magic simply vaporized it.
Ray didn’t lose hope just once; he tried once more, and once more, the healing of his skull had gotten a huge upgrade, but even it was breaking apart. Ray had already died over 700 times in just less than a day.
After a few more times, Ray smiled at the weapon; a hole was found between the structures of its magic. His flesh flooded to the weapon again; it didn’t last long, but Ray could feel the will of the nova magic getting weaker.
His eyes shined with killing intent. "Kneel." The command was so strong that even the elf on the other side of the platform sensed the weight of his words.
The nova scythe reached a stable situation, surrounded by blood magic; it didn’t go against it, letting Ray control it as he wanted.
"The last ingredient!" His hands penetrated his chest, taking out his own beating heart. As a blood mage, his heart was the core of his magic in his body; using the small magic he had left, he healed himself and sacrificed the heart to the weapon.
His heart was absorbed into the weapon, changing its form. A weapon floated in the air in front of him, a thin scythe; all of it was made out of blood and purple lights that were coexisting inside of it.
Your weapon is crafted.
Weapon: Crimson Star
Rarity: Celestial
Passive: Unleash the wrath of stars.
Level: Unkown
"So there is a tier above mythical weapons!" With a smile of satisfaction, Ray fell on the ground.
They were already of the star; whatever the elf’s magic was, it was truly impressive.
"Our part of the deal, I will draw out your pure magic and channel it to my own system; even in galaxies far away it still works."
The armored figure towered above him. "Go on." He took a few breaths. "How much has passed on earth?"
"With our protection spells, probably just a month; otherwise, 100 years." The elf’s magic connected to Ray’s system as she talked.
Letting it do whatever it wanted with his pure magic, Ray didn’t say anything. He had to gather his energy back.
"And here is a gift; we might work together in the future." A note of very specific details of magic was sent to his mind.
Reading through it in an instant, Ray’s expression turned grim; the process had at least near 100 steps that had to be done perfectly.
As the pure magic was extracted from his system, Ray felt his fatigue wear off and his magic returning. Raising an eyebrow to the elf, he asked with sarcasm, "You helping out a lesser human?"
"Orders."
"Thank you." Ray’s mind wandered to his next plan; the formula was not much of a treasure for him at the moment, but he could sell it to Fereya for a large amount.
"I should start working on Famine’s quest too!" With a sigh of relief Ray awaited his return to earth. "The first priority should be to get enough crystals out of Fereya to reach level 9, and then with ease start the slaughter in general!"
"All set. You can return now." The elf snapped, and a rift swallowed Ray’s figure.
In a blink Rau found himself on earth again. "Quite the ability!" He searched around; he was in the middle of a city with people staring at him, and then he realized he was fully naked.
"Fuck." He teleported back to the bunker at once, but Jade and Marian were nowhere to be found.
First he checked the date. "Only a month, not that bad."
"Why the hell do I feel my own type of magic from where you are?" The message came suddenly with the voice of an angry immortal.
"Long story, but are you interested in a deal?" He wanted to make contact with the Feraya himself, but annoying Aria in the process was a bonus.
"Fuck you, I have nothing to do with you; Scarlet will be your bridge from now on."
"Tell her I want to meet her." With a huge smile on his face, Ray waited for the hand to come in the bunker.
"Miss you, get ready for tonight!" Ray left a massage on the table as he left with the hand to the glass platform. After a successful risk, nothing could have made him feel better than a session with his women.
What he didn’t know was that all the radars in the military were alerted at once because of an immortal-level threat on earth.
