Stella Charlie had heard the news that Chloe Swift was remarried, now pregnant, seemingly happy in her marriage."This way, please, Miss Charlie," Chloe Swift gestured towards the hotel restaurant.

Chloe Swift ordered a hot drink and snacks, smiling at Stella Charlie, "You’ve changed so much, yet you’re still as beautiful as back then."

Chloe Swift took a deep breath, looked at Stella Charlie, and said, "In the past, I tried every means to make him fall in love with me, by any means necessary, and did many things that hurt you. I played a big part in where things ended up between you two."
Stella Charlie faintly smiled, saying nothing. Truth be told, she had never blamed Chloe Swift.
She felt the choice was always in Vincent Warner’s hands; his choices led to their separation.
Without Chloe Swift, there would be another woman. As long as Vincent Warner’s choice remained unchanged, their end would have been the same.

Stella Charlie chuckled self-deprecatingly, "He loves himself more."
Chloe Swift shook her head, "You’re wrong. He was willing to do anything for you, like marrying me, just to protect you."
Stella Charlie was stunned for a moment. She always thought Vincent was marrying Chloe Swift for family interests, believing that in Vincent’s heart, interests always outweighed her.
"Your car accident wasn’t an accident; it was orchestrated by his mother to force him to marry me. He complied with his family’s arrangements just to protect you."
"Even after getting married, he never truly looked at me. When drunk, he called out your name."
"I thought with time, he would forget about you, but I witnessed how he couldn’t withstand his yearning for you, traveling long distances repeatedly to find you."
