Chapter 1558: Ian Shelby’s True Identity
The taxi quickly arrived at Kingston Group. The two girls got out of the car swiftly, holding hands and heading straight to the lobby, unwilling to waste a single second. As they entered through the glass doors, a female employee in formal attire approached them with a smile, "Are you Miss Mills and Miss Morgan?"
"Yes, yes, we are."
"Please follow me, the CEO is upstairs."
"Thank you!"
The woman led them directly to the elevator and took them upstairs.
One must say, Trevor is really attentive. He considers everything thoroughly, and since he took over The Dalton Group, it has truly been flourishing.
Janelle has been to Trevor’s office, which is already quite tasteful, but today, coming to the Kingston Group, it’s on a whole other level.
Everything is fully automated, with a high-tech feel, and the visual effect is extremely impressive. It truly lives up to being the leader in the business world.
Even though they hadn’t seen Justin Kingston yet, the two girls could feel a strong aura.
"This way, please."
"Alright, thank you."
Exiting the elevator, the efficient and beautiful receptionist assistant led them to the left, soon arriving at the CEO’s office door.
"Hello, CEO Kingston." The receptionist assistant politely knocked on the open door, smiling as she reported, "Miss Morgan and Miss Mills have arrived."
"Alright." Justin Kingston looked up from his desk, "Come in." He began tidying up the documents on his desk.
The two girls thanked the receptionist assistant beside them once more and then stepped inside.
Soon, a female employee brought in some tea; at this moment, Finn Morgan and Jerry Garcia were both absent.
Justin Kingston stood up to greet them, "Have a seat." His face bore a gentle smile.
Jocelyn Morgan and Janelle Mills came to his side, Justin exuded a warm aura, without any pretense.
"Just leave the tea here," Justin said to the female employee.
"Sure, CEO." She set down the tea and turned to leave.
The man sat on the sofa, leaning forward to personally pour them tea.
"CEO Kingston, who took Ian Shelby away?" Jocelyn stood by the sofa, knowing his time was valuable, she got straight to the point, "Do you know where he is right now? What exactly happened?"
Her tone sounded calm, but her inner anxiety was like a volcano beneath the sea, ready to erupt uncontrollably.
Justin poured three cups of tea, took one, and looked up at the two girls standing side by side. They seemed a bit nervous.
Both were fixated on him, eagerly awaiting his response.
Justin maintained a highly composed smile, his lips elegantly curving upwards, "Please sit; we can chat over tea."
Jocelyn suddenly felt excited, which meant CEO Kingston not only knew but was also willing to talk.
So, they sat down in the armchair across the coffee table, their gaze still fixed on his chiseled face.
"Has Ian Shelby never mentioned anything about Lorelei to you?" Justin guessed.
Jocelyn pressed her lips and shook her head, "No."
Then a brief silence descended on the elegantly simple office.
Justin was in thought.
The two girls’ gaze remained on his face, waiting for him to speak again.
After a while, Justin looked up, his thin lips gently parting, "If he hasn’t told you, he might have his concerns, but now... I think it’s better to tell you, especially since you are together."
Jocelyn was filled with gratitude towards him, "Thank you."
Justin said, "Ian Shelby is the prince of Lorelei, a very wealthy nation. Due to its unique geographical environment, it exclusively produces some of the most sparkling diamonds in the world. Almost everyone there gets rich through diamonds; there are no poor people in this country."
The prince of Lorelei??
