Chapter 1564: Justin Kingston Changes His Mind
Chapter 1564: Justin Kingston Changes His Mind
After dinner...The villa in Emerald Cove was brightly lit. Some were playing chess, others were drinking tea and chatting, while some were touring the setup.
Anton Miller patiently accompanied the children in their play, pulling Ethan Dalton into the fun too. The atmosphere was incredibly harmonious; he resembled a king among children.
Gradually, the night deepened.
Everyone gradually got up to say goodbye to the Kingston family. Justin Kingston and Mia Lane went out to the courtyard to send everyone off, watching as one car after another drove away.
Half an hour later, in the master bedroom upstairs.
Justin Kingston came out after taking a shower, wearing a white bathrobe, with his hair washed. His well-defined abdominal muscles subtly revealed his good physique.
He picked up his phone and found Jerry Garcia’s number, dialing directly, "Are you asleep?"
"CEO Kingston, I was about to sleep, what’s up?"
Justin Kingston sat down in the sofa by the window, speaking in a deep voice, "Contact Catherine Princess, and tell her that our company has taken on the royal project."
"Why?" Jerry Garcia was shocked, very puzzled, "Even though we have a branch in Lorelei, it’s only for jewelry. The royal family wants to build a castle park, involving the architecture department, developers, technical department, administrative department, planning department, drawing department... our whole team would need to be sent over."
Justin Kingston listened in silence, not interrupting him.
After Jerry Garcia finished speaking, there was a brief silence. Justin Kingston patiently spoke again, "I’ll repeat, contact Catherine Princess, and tell her that The Kingston Group agrees to design and build the castle park."
"But..." Jerry Garcia was anxious, still puzzled, "CEO Kingston, you said we wouldn’t get involved with the royal family in Lorelei. In our company’s entire future planning, taking on a royal project doesn’t make sense; you said these words yourself."
So he directly refused Catherine that day.
"But I’ve changed my mind now." Justin Kingston’s voice was deep like aging wine, his decision resolute, "Got it?"
Jerry Garcia knew he couldn’t change his mind, so he had to accept, "Alright, I’ll call her now. Get some rest early."
Justin Kingston hung up the phone. He casually picked up his laptop, opening it to find the information Finn Morgan had compiled about the Lorelei royal family.
No one could guarantee the accuracy of these character relationships, as the royal family was very mysterious, never showing themselves publicly, essentially the definition of low-key.
The information now was that Catherine Princess is King Bertie’s second wife, and she bore him a son—Prince Taylor.
Yet she wasn’t elevated by bearing a son, having never been crowned queen.
Ian Shelby is the prince, so who is his mother?? Justin Kingston couldn’t help but contemplate, going through all the materials without finding any information about him or his mother.
Regarding Prince Taylor, Justin Kingston glanced over the information.
Though Taylor entered Cambridge, he was definitely an underperforming bronze; Finn Morgan collected information showing even the student guards had better grades than him.
Seeing this, Justin Kingston couldn’t help but reveal a hint of a smile.
Just then, Mia Lane came out of the bathroom, "What are you looking at? Smiling so happily?" She asked while drying her hair with a towel as she walked over.
"Do you know Ian Shelby’s real identity, as his mentor?" Justin Kingston closed his laptop and looked up at her.
Mia Lane met his gaze, "Does he have another identity?"
"Do you know Lorelei?"
"The mythical diamond kingdom? Don’t you have a branch over there?" Mia Lane said, "I’ve never been, but it’s said to be particularly developed, what’s up?"
Justin Kingston told her, "Ian Shelby is the prince of Lorelei, the king’s own son."
"..." Mia Lane was shocked, her heartbeat skipped a beat.
