The Crazed Little Darling: Pampered by the Possesive Commander!

Chapter 402: Clingy Ruan Ruan

Chapter 402: Clingy Ruan Ruan

Among the four high-level Insect Race members, Aiers, the only female, seemed visibly absent-minded.She occasionally glanced into the distance, with her brows furrowed, and a hint of confusion on her face.

Archi was the first to notice her abnormality and asked, "Aiers, what are you looking at?"

"I don’t know." Aiers withdrew her gaze, "I just feel like something is approaching us."

Her words reminded Archi of something.

"Oh right, a starship has entered the Insect Domain."

Archi shared the previous signal he received with the other insects.

"Do you think it could be related to this starship?"

"Whatever the case, we should check it out ourselves." Ian chimed in from the side.

The four insects exchanged glances and instantly understood each other’s intentions.

The four insects quickly disappeared from where they were, heading towards the starship.

Meanwhile, on the starship, Su Ruan woke up in a daze.

Upon waking, she didn’t say anything, just stared blankly at Lu Shinian.

Lu Shinian noticed her awakening and asked gently, "Ruan Ruan, are you feeling better now?"

Su Ruan’s eyes moved slightly, she opened her mouth, squeezing out a faint sound from her throat.

"I’d like some water."

Lu Shinian quickly poured some water and fed it slowly to Su Ruan.

Su Ruan drank in small sips, and after drinking, her voice finally returned to normal.

"The voices have disappeared."

As Lu Shinian dialed Cheng Qingye’s video call, he asked, "What voices?"

"I don’t know." Su Ruan looked dazed, with a hint of confusion, "I also don’t know what the voices were."

"It seemed like a lot of voices, many people talking."

"But I couldn’t hear clearly."

"So many... so many people talking."

Su Ruan threw herself into Lu Shinian’s arms, grabbing his arms tightly, her fingertips tensed.

"They’re so noisy."

"Too noisy."

A feeling of fear surged in her heart, "I almost wanted to kill them."

Thankfully, she didn’t do such a thing, or she would have lived in guilt for the rest of her life.

Lu Shinian gently patted her back and looked up at the virtual screen projected in mid-air.

On the screen, appeared the figure of Cheng Qingye.

Cheng Qingye looked thoughtfully at Su Ruan and slowly spoke, "Little sister, you didn’t hear a single word clearly?"

Su Ruan’s body stiffened. She turned her head, realizing Lu Shinian had somehow contacted her third brother.

Her third brother must also know about her abnormality now.

Su Ruan didn’t hide it and shook her head, "I didn’t hear clearly."

"Brother." Su Ruan faced Cheng Qingye, parting her hair and pointing to the small antenna on top of her head, "Could it be related to the special phase of the Insect Race?"

Cheng Qingye glanced at Su Ruan’s small antenna, which was evidently tinged with a bright red at the tip, and frowned.

"It looks like it."

"But the special phase of the Insect Race usually only involves mating behavior, not hearing any voices."

Cheng Qingye said seriously.

"Maybe it’s also because you’re quite special."

"I can’t go back to the Insect Domain for now, see if you can contact Archi and the others to ask if such a situation has happened in the Insect Race before."

"You should go to the Crystal Palace on S-01 Star, there’s a switch on the right armrest of the throne. Press it, and you’ll enter the secret chamber of the Insect Race."

"Little sister, go check if there’s been a similar occurrence."

Cheng Qingye was concerned about his sister to the point of revealing secrets like the Insect Race’s secret chamber.

Su Ruan obediently nodded, indicating she understood.

Cheng Qingye reminded her a couple more times, saying if anything happens, she should contact him, and then he ended the communication.

As the virtual screen disappeared, Su Ruan relaxed her entire body, going limp into Lu Shinian’s arms.

"But I’m still feeling uncomfortable." She said with a tinge of grievance.

"Are there still many voices?" Lu Shinian asked softly.

Su Ruan shook her head, "No, that’s not it."

"The voices have disappeared."

"But my body feels bad."

Su Ruan leaned her head closer, "Husband, give it a kiss."

She pointed to her small antenna.

Lu Shinian lowered his head, kissing her small antenna, making Su Ruan feel tingly all over as if she were melting into a puddle.

Su Ruan continued to snuggle against Lu Shinian, acting coquettishly, clinging to him and refusing to let go.

Whenever Lu Shinian let her go slightly, she would display such an aggrieved look as if he were abandoning her.

Seeing Su Ruan clinging so much, Lu Shinian suddenly understood why Su Hanjing always looked helpless when talking about Cheng Yushu during their special phase.

It’s indeed excessively clingy.

However, it’s a good thing for him.

After all, Ruan Ruan wouldn’t normally cling to him this much.

Lu Shinian held her securely in his arms, soothing her softly.

As he gently appeased Su Ruan, Aiers was the first to arrive on the starship.

Her inherent ability was spatial transfer, and with a rough direction, she could quickly move onto the starship.

Moreover, she appeared directly inside the starship, without drawing anyone’s attention.

But the starship was vast, and she wasn’t sure where there were people, so she could only search room by room.

Fortunately, her luck wasn’t bad. In the first room she searched, she found someone.

It was a man with only faint life energy, and a seemingly fragile infant.

Aiers’ gaze fell on the baby girl, and she quickly approached, wanting to get closer to the baby, but the man blocked her.

"Who are you? How did you appear on this starship?" Zero questioned.

Aiers didn’t respond to the man’s inquiry, keeping her eyes fixed on the baby girl behind him.

"Who is she?" Aiers pressed on.

Zero regarded Aiers cautiously, his pupils flickering with a stream of blue data as he scanned over Aiers.

Aiers sensed something unusual, but unfamiliar with human technology, she couldn’t detect that Zero was scanning her bodily condition.

The data stream rapidly flashed in Zero’s eyes, and within just a second, he asserted confidently, "You are from the Insect Race."

Aiers never bothered to hide her Insect Race identity, admitting it straightforwardly.

"So what if I’m from the Insect Race?"

"Who is she?"

She pressed again.

"Who is this baby girl?"

Why did she sense the aura of a cub on this baby girl?

Zero naturally wouldn’t disclose matters concerning the little master, after all, the little master is a Natural Human. Who knows what this high-level Insect Race might do to a Natural Human.

His uncooperative attitude unexpectedly stirred a rare irritation within Aiers.

The Insect Race, respecting strength, viewed fighting as a normal response to displeasure.

It was because Aiers and others had been taught not to resort to violence lightly within the Spiritual Domain by Su Ruan that they had spent these years quietly within the Insect Domain, not seeking trouble with humans.

But this didn’t mean they lacked tempers.

When it came to matters involving Su Ruan, Aiers’ fiery temper was ignited.
